20 Massage Tips For (the rest of) 2020 #2


Nothing like trying to relax when you're stressed out about running late. Plan to be at your massage appointment about 5 minutes early so you have time to sit and breathe, fill out any paperwork, or even just take a moment to uncompress to allow yourself to enjoy your massage. If you are running late, the time you are missing might be deducted from the time allotted from your massage, so you don't get the full benefit of what you are paying for. Some therapists may be able to extend to cover the lost time, but if they have appointments following yours, it may not always be possible. That being said, therapists know that stuff happens - running late, road construction, etc which is why they will usually try to extend, but for your own stress levels, and to help your relaxation, plan ahead a bit.
